The golden brown-crusted white ramekin arrives piping hot and bubbling over with the peachy cobbler with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream atop. As my spoon pierces the light and fluffy, homemade buttermilk crust, the ice cream melts into the rich blue and golden mixture below.
Flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar meld together accenting the blueberries and peaches, which have a little skin left on them for color. The bowl disappears quickly and soon so will the Alabama peach crop. So don’t miss out on getting your own ramekin of this delectable dish.
