COURTROOM to COCKTAILS

Eight of the region’s leading female attorneys, mediators and judges model clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue that can stylishly take them from their demanding work days to after-work events and parties.

These eight women were also a part of a related fashion show on March 3, featuring four additional women from the legal community, that was created to raise money and awareness for the YWCA’s My Sister’s Closet program. Co-hosted by Birmingham magazine, Morris, Haynes & Hornsby, the Women Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association and Saks Fifth Avenue, the fashion show celebrated some of the women in leadership roles in the legal community and encouraged other professional women to donate their time, talents and gently used clothing to their “sisters” who are rebuilding their personal lives and careers with help from the YWCA.
